TeacherMark
AI-assisted marking for handwritten math
Students learn math best with pen and paper. Teachers give the best feedback when they have time to read their students' work. TeacherMark brings the two together.
TeacherMark marks students' handwritten math so teachers can give faster, more regular feedback, without putting students in front of screens. Teachers stay in charge: they review the marking and decide how to respond.
Math teachers and their students, starting in Scotland, with a focus on schools serving deprived communities.
TeacherMark is in active research and development, supported by Scottish Enterprise and Interface, in partnership with the University of Strathclyde. A teacher-led pilot is planned for 2026–27.
